Chieu Le, founder of Lee's Sandwiches, came to the US and settled in San Jose in 1980. He began taking English classes and regularly bought food from food trucks before and after Seeing the potential, Mr. Chieu decided to start with a catering truck to participate more in the business. The following year, he bought his own vehicle and started his first journey to make Vietnamese food around San Jose.
TJJ Export & Logistics was born from a bold journey that began in 1985, when 500 food trucks served Vietnamese food across the United States—bringing the flavors of Vietnam to Vietnamese communities and introducing it to the world. Over time, we expanded our mission beyond street food, importing a wide range of high-quality Vietnamese products to serve the needs of overseas Vietnamese and Asian supermarkets. Today, TJJ proudly supports thousands of retail locations and distribution partners across North America and beyond, making Vietnamese goods available in markets around the globe.
